Who are we looking for?

The Prescription Processor (Order Entry Technician) will help Aspire Allergy & Sinus’s patients achieve long-term allergy relief by processing all Immunotherapy prescriptions and providing phone-based patient service support to ensure patients graduate treatment.

Schedule: Monday-Thursday 8-5 pm, Half-days on Fridays!

What your day will look like

  • Assist with daily administrative procedures in support of production, distribution, customer retention and customer account management
  • Process all delegated prescription orders by end of day of date assigned.
  • Professionally handle incoming customer inquiries and requests via phone, email and Klara
  • Utilize Practice Management, Treatment Software and Credit Card Payment systems to accurately enter prescription order information, update patient records and process account payments
  • Make outbound patient calls as assigned to respond to email or voicemail inquiries
  • Make outbound patient calls when a patient’s credit card on file is declined
  • Create treatment charges and transfer credits for charges in the Practice Management Systems
  • Log all patient contacts and their disposition in our Treatment and Practice Management Systems
  • Appropriately coordinate patient care across departments
  • Support retention of current immunotherapy patients by utilizing all available treatment options, cancellation processes and tools
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
  • 1+ Years of experience in a fast-paced customer service environment
  • 1+ Years of Healthcare or Pharmacy experience (Preferred)

Knowledge & Skills Needed to be Successful

  • Must have proficient communication skills (phone, email, face-to-face communication)
  • Must have exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Must have customer orientation and the ability to adapt/respond to patient escalation issues
  • Ability to quickly learn new software
  • Must be able to handle sensitive patient documentation
