CTG's premier client has a contract assignment for an Organizational Design Specialist. This is a hybrid opportunity with an onsite presence in Washington, DC

Job Title: Organizational Design Specialist
Location: Washington, DC

Support the Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization Integration Office (EHRM-IO) program as an Organizational Design Specialist. Contractor will support government staffing needs, including acting as an HR liaison to several EHRM-IO pillars in tracking recruitment actions between EHRM-IO and VA HR Servicing organization. Contractor will provide recommendations to EHRM-IO pillars in areas related to recruitment and hiring, and act as a connection point between the pillars and HR Servicing Office for other HR-related questions. Duties include developing recruitment packages, coordination of HR consultations and interview panels, ensuring onboarding of new staff goes smoothly, reporting out on status of recruit and detail actions to pillars and executive leadership, and tracking of activities to ensure compliance with all VA staffing policies. Able to act as liaison to internal clients in support of change management efforts. Provide coordination and facilitation support for senior level briefings (i.e., Program Overview).

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business or related scientific /technical discipline and Minimum 10 years’ of professional experience - 8 additional years of relevant experience may be substituted for education
  • Minimum 2 years’ of ServiceNow utilization
  • Experience with federal recruiting
  • Strong leadership, written/oral communications, analytics, data gathering and organization skills
  • Experience managing Information Technology related projects
  • Well versed in life cycle and project management methodologies
  • Experience in monitoring, tracking and documenting progress with assigned tasks
  • Able to identify and mitigate risks

Desired qualifications:

  • Experience in the VA or DoD
  • Experience integrating electronic health records
