Position Purpose:

The Outreach & Education Specialist develops and facilitates community-based sexual violence outreach and prevention education programs and leads bystander approaches aimed to create a community in which sexual violence is not tolerated and safety, equality, and respect are the supported social norms.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop, deliver, and evaluate evidence-based prevention education and bystander engagement programs with a focus on middle and high school students, college students, and adults.
• Lead outreach and prevention education strategies to inform, educate, and engage people to take action to end sexual violence and oppression.
• Increase youth protective and promotive factors and decrease risk factors for sexual violence.

Position Requirements & Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university OR high school diploma and four (4) years of relevant experience required.
• Preferred qualifications include (2) years of experience in community outreach/engagement, program development/implementation, and outcome/impact measurement and evaluation.
• Applicants must possess strong communication and collaboration skills.

Work Schedule:

• 40-hour work week with supervisor-approved schedule to meet position responsibilities, including occasional weekend and evening hours.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
