Job Description: Outside Sales Representative

Seeking an Outside Sales Representative in support of an industrial repair and maintenance company targeting petrochemical plants, refineries and manufacturing facilities.

Qualifications: 1 to 3 years’ experience in outside sales in the industrial repair and maintenance sector. We will consider an entry level candidate with outstanding potential.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to travel as needed
• Strong presentation skills

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales goals and objectives.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with current customer base and new customers.
• Maintain and build strong relationship with existing and potential customers as well with equipment distributors.
• Work closely with the repair and maintenance team to ensure customer satisfaction and product quality.
• Prepare sales presentations to customers.
• Help set contract terms, conditions and pricing for customers.
• Ad Hoc reporting and analysis as directed by management.
• Follow standard operating procedures and policies according to company practices.

Education:

High School Graduate with some college hours preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year, plus commission based on % of new business gross revenue, plus car allowance. Salary can be negotiated up if candidate has access to proven contacts in petrochemical/refinery facilities.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Candidate will be on the road interfacing with potential customers. Home facility is in Alvin, Texas.
