Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating overhead cranes to move materials, equipment, and products in a safe and efficient manner. The Overhead Crane Operator will also be responsible for conducting pre-operation inspections, following safety procedures, and maintaining the crane and surrounding work area.
- Operate overhead cranes to move materials, equipment, and products in a safe and efficient manner.
- Conduct pre-operation inspections of the crane and associated equipment.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure the safety of personnel and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operation of the crane.
- Monitor the crane and surrounding work area to identify and report any hazards or issues that could impact safety or productivity.
- Maintain the crane and associated equipment, including performing routine maintenance, cleaning, and repairs as needed.
- Record and maintain accurate documentation of crane operation, maintenance, and repair activities.
