Job Title : Package Handler

Work Location : Chaska, MN

Duration : 12 months

Shift Hours : Monday-Thursday 5:45 AM – 4:15 PM, Overtime on Fridays as needed

Position Summary:

· Our manufacturing company is seeking a team member to join our Hardware Manufacturing Team.

· In this role, you will complete the finished packaging and crating of large and small diagnostic equipment and accessories and be responsible for the outgoing shipping dock for Hardware Manufacturing.

· Also, crating/packaging of large diagnostic equipment using a forklift, pallet jack, and basic hand tools.

· They will also be responsible for the shipping dock in terms of managing the inventory and staging the area (5S).

· We are looking for associates who thrive in a team-oriented, goal-focused environment.

· We operate using Daily Management principles, providing immediate guidance and feedback to our associates, and focusing on daily, monthly, and quarterly objectives.

· You’ll be responsible for following established operation procedures, maintaining appropriate training records for your role, sustaining a smooth flow of material and executing work orders to on-time completion.

· Our work delivers both instruments and reagents to customers in hospital and laboratory environments, supporting patient health.

Education/Experience:

· Must have 2+ years of relevant experience in a similar warehouse/packaging role.

· Forklift experience and certification are a plus.

· High School Degree (minimum). Experience in a regulated industry preferred (e.g. FDA, ISO)

Working Conditions:

· Our facilities are a heated, air-conditioned and humidity-controlled production floor and /or clean room environment.

· Our buildings are modern, with employee-accessible WIFI, dedicated breaks, quiet, and collaborative spaces, and an on-campus cafeteria.

Physical Demands:

· While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand for prolonged periods.

· The employee is frequently required to talk and hear; use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms above shoulder height and below the waist.

· The associate must be able to read and speak English.

· Using proper lifting techniques, the employee must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

· In addition, the candidate will use a forklift and pallet jacks daily to perform duties in a manner conducive to efficiency, job specifications, safety, and quality goals.

· Ability to frequently stand (80%), bend, kneel, lift and sit to accomplish assembly production goals.
