Summary:
The Paid Search Specialist works in conjunction with digital media team and account teams to research, build and execute search engine marketing campaigns for a diverse client set. This individual is responsible for building and maintaining campaigns that meet client objectives and campaign KPIs.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct keyword research for current and prospective clients
- Develop paid search engine marketing strategies
- Build SEM campaigns within the various search engine interfaces
- Execute paid search programs according to industry best practices
- Optimize SEM efforts for continuous improvement
- Identify new opportunities for existing clients to expand current campaign strategies
- Manage budgets and directly maintain paid search accounts for small to mid-sized budget level accounts
- Manage budgets and maintain paid search accounts for large budget level accounts with oversight of senior team members
- Write highly-effective paid search ad copy for scaled search campaigns
- Create and deliver reports for paid search programs based on client requirements
- Lead presentation of paid search strategies, recommendations and reports
- Audit SEM programs for the purpose of winning and growing paid search business
- Keep current on all trends in the paid search and digital marketing fields

Required Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred, but not required
- 2+ years of paid search marketing experience
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Organized and attentive to details
- Knowledge of paid search concepts and research tools
- Hard working, energetic and flexible; able to handle multiple priorities, constant change and last-minute requests
- Experience with Google AdWords and Bing Ads interfaces required
- Google AdWords Search Certification required
- Proficiency with AdWords Editor required
- Knowledge of Search Ads 360 or other bid management platforms a plus
- Intermediate or advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
- Experience with Google Tag Manager required
