Description:

Paint all around the Bay Area: Santa Clara, San Francisco, San Mateo and Alameda County.

Standard schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00am-3:30pm. Occasional Overtime and Saturday work.

• Looking for experienced painters with full service interior and exterior commercial, industrial or residential painting experience
• Painters must have their own vehicle and tools/brushes/rollers/buckets in order to start. Company tools (brushes, roller, ladders) will be given after start period
• Candidates will be dispatched out by superintendent through text to different projects around the Bay Area
• Mileage paid outside of a 25-mile radius of Campbell office at $.625/mile. Any jobsite located within 25-mile radius of Campbell office will have 0 mileage pay

Candidates are expected to be not only prompt in their work but also very impeccable in their paint work.

"How long does it take for you to paint a standard office space?" It should take them no more than an hour to do so with no flaws.

Candidates should be able to explain the full process of painting. (protect baseboards, floor, doing patchwork, spot, do cut ins and roll out walls)

Since it is commercial work, painters should be thinking of measurements in 5 gallons and not 1 gallon in order to complete work. 1 gallon = residential work.

Interior Painting Tasks:

• Prep walls to be painted by making necessary repairs including patching
• Mask any items not to be painted
• If equipment is to be used indoors, prep floors with hard substrate to protect interior floors
• Spot prime any new repairs and as needed
• Prime new walls
• Apply paint in as many coats as necessary to achieve 100% coverage with new color
• Paint any extras included in bid such as door frames, elevator doors, trim work, etc.
• Cleanup of jobsite including removal of all masking materials and trash
• Final inspection and quality control

Exterior Painting Tasks:

• Color rendering of proposed colors and placement
• Mock ups of color selection before final color approval
• Treatment of any mold or mildew with bleach
• Scraping and sanding of all peeling paint, removal of failing caulking or patching
• Tightening loose screws and re-nailing any emerging nails. Treatment of any rusted nails or screws
• Masking all windows, doors, and areas not to be painted
• Spot priming bare wood with appropriate primer
• Patching cracks or imperfections in surface, texture to match existing
• Caulking of joints and open seams (not including building expansion joints)
• Spraying exterior paint, back roll as needed
• Painting of accent or trim color
• Removal of all masking materials
• Cleanup of jobsite
• Final inspection
