The Painter opportunity is best for someone who comes in everyday to work hands on to make sure the customers vehicle looks brand new. You will become familiar with all our products, have steady work year-round, and use all of the latest state-of-the-art equipment and technology.

What You'll Do:

• Participate in the preparation of paint damage estimates and associated paperwork
• Order paint products and supplies to maintain and update department inventory
• Coordinate the acquisition and disposal of waste products
• Mix paint products according to specifications, match and adjust colors using tint products
• Paint surface using sprayer or brush as appropriate
• Inspect painted units for quality of workmanship, noting any runs, sags, or unpainted areas
• Clean and maintain painting tools, ventilation devices, and other safety equipment to ensure maximum performance and protection from harmful chemicals
• Maintain and wear all required safety and health personal protective equipment, including a respirator, in the manner recommended by the equipment manufacturer
• Comply with all laws and regulations pertaining to paint, thinners, and other hazardous materials. Reports any deviations to management
• Understand, keeps abreast of, and complies with federal, state, and local regulations that affect body shop operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc.
• Maintain a clean and organized work space

• All other duties, tasks and/or projects as assigned

We're Looking For:

• Must work well as a member of a team
• Must be punctual and reliable
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Must have prior body shop and/or jamming experience
