Job Description:
What you’ll need:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification prior to date of hire.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required prior to hire.
- Recommended ITLS certification within 6 months of hire.
- Must possess IV certification upon hire.
- Must possess knowledge of and ability to apply emergency medical theory, practices, techniques and methods.
- Must have the visual and auditory ability to assess patient conditions in order to administer effective care using standard ER procedures.
- Must have manual dexterity to perform such functions as drawing up and administering injections, inserting catheters, starting and administering IV solutions and performing BLS, ACLS and PALS.
