Paraprofessional Teacher Assistant (FT) Job at Hope Ranch Learning Academy

The opening of our Living Hope Campus has opened 6 more classrooms serving Elementary, Middle and High School students at Hope Ranch Learning Academy. This has allowed us to open additional seats for students on our waiting list. We are currently interviewing for Teaching Assistants at all levels.
Our non-Denominational Christian Private School is set on a wooded horse ranch, and we focus on students with Autism and other learning disabilities. We use innovative teaching and classroom management techniques which include the Teaching Family Model and horse interaction as part of the academic experience.
Classrooms consist of 1 Lead Teacher, 1-2 Teaching Assistants and a maximum of 15 students. The Elementary classroom has a 5:1 Student to Instructor ratio and our Middle and High School Classroom has a max of 8:1 Student to Instructor ratio.
Paraprofessional/Teaching Assistant: $14 per hour (Hourly Position)

Paraprofessional/Teaching Assistant Qualifications:
- AA Degree (preferred)
- 1 year of experience with Learning Disabled Students (preferred).
- Teaching experience (local church, pre-school, home schooling, K-12).
- At least 21 years of age.
- Valid Florida Driver’s License.
- Reliable transportation.
- Level 2 Background Check (Required).
Paraprofessional/Teaching Assistant General Responsibilities:
- Follow Lead Teacher's Weekly Lesson Planning
- Classroom Management & Leadership

- Limited Grading
- Adapting lesson plans to meet student’s needs.
- Help Lead Teacher with Monthly Newsletters
