Part Time/Full Time Ophthalmic Technician Job at Retina Consultants of Westchester
Growing Retina Practice in the Westchester and Rockland County. Experience is preferred. Our office uses MDI-Intellechart and AdvancedMD.
Our technicians are expected to perform many aspects of the practice, including (but not limited to) check-in, scheduling, insurance authorizations, preliminary examinations visual acuity, applanation tonometry, and a medical intake. The technicians may need to perform diagnostic tests including but not limited to visual field testing, obtaining images using the Heidelberg Spectralis platform, and more.
Spanish speaking helpful. Good people skills, and positive attitude needed, Will train right the right candidate.
Must have access to car and be able to travel to other locations. We are looking for part-time/full-time candidates (3-4 days a week; ~30 hours a week). The Practice offers late appointments and Saturdays (2 days a month).

At least 1 year of previous experience required as an ophthalmic technician. Salary is commensurate with experience.
