The Med Spa Customer Service Representative is responsible to know the process for interviewing clients to ensure an accurate registration and efficient schedule. Ensures HIPAA standards are adhered to and followed in accordance to the Benefis Health System policy. The CSR is responsible to order, receive and inventory supplies. The CSR will handle all point of service collections and reconcile cash drawers. CSR will be knowledgeable about Med Spa products and services. The CSR will have a basic understanding of Dermatology and Plastic Surgery services.

NON-EXEMPT

Captures all critical data elements including but not limited to: name, address, phone number, email address, etc.

Performs accurate registration in computer system

Collects payment for all products and services. This includes, but is not limited to daily collection tracking, balancing the daily transactions and submitting deposits.

Develops positive customer relationships by anticipating and providing solutions to the needs of internal and external customer populations and by giving a high priority to customer satisfaction.

Performs other job-related duties including, but not limited to registrations in multiple systems, coverage of ancillary departments, as well as other duties assigned by the Manager or Supervisor

Assists other staff and provides guidance on escalated or difficult issues.

Effective communication skills, which encompasses written and verbal communications. Effective documentation skills to provide detail to any given situation for Supervisor and Manager to confidently discuss without Lead present.

Participates in hiring of new team members. Understands and can teach the principles of Revenue Cycle to incumbent staff and all new hires.

Demonstrates an ability to adapt to a flexible schedule, possess organizational skills, and function well in stressful, fast-paced and urgent situations. Must demonstrate a positive and professional image at all times

Demonstrates ability to support staff within the department with questions and guidance as needed to perform patient registration functions.
