Position Summary:


This is a staff level position. This person is responsible for processing corporate payroll accurately and timely. This position requires interaction with employees on all levels of the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Process corporate payroll, salary changes, promotions, hires, and termination.
  • Process ECTime timesheets as needed. Review, analyze, process, and verify garnishment payments for US Employees including collaborating with the Legal Department.
  • Process and balance periodic payroll deductions.
  • Responsible for biweekly, manual checks, stop payments, re-printing of W-2 as needed. Time and labor audits for changes made that could affect overtime.
  • Coordinate document storage of all payroll information.
  • Create departmental overtime queries after each payroll, Audit timesheets on a weekly basis to ensure employees are entering time accurately and follow up on any discrepancies. Track overpayments as they occur and communicate with HR to recover funds. Other special projects as assigned.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Financial Responsibilities

Integral part of the department responsible for the proper accounting and processing of payrolls valued at approximately $410 million dollars of payroll gross wages for 5,600 US employees

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in accounting or equivalent from a four-year college; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1-2 years minimum of payroll experience, processing payroll for 2,000+ employees. Experience with Success Factors (ECP and ECT) is a must.

Knowledge and Skills:


  • Knowledge of ADP Payroll systems a plus.
  • Knowledge of garnishment processing a must.
  • Required knowledge of, and able to apply, payroll rules, practices, and regulations.
  • Must show professional respect and adherence to confidentiality and discretion in handling pay matters.
  • Strong customer service skills, strong verbal and written communication skills is required.
  • Must be self-motivated, flexible, deadline-oriented, and able to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Good personal time management and ability to adhere to tight schedules.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to interface and work with a wide variety of individuals at all levels.
  • Knowledge of Windows operating systems, Excel, Word, and Power Point.
