Permanent, part-time courier position transporting specimen, lab tests and medical clinic supplies. Keeping an accurate log of your transactions and providing excellent customer support to members of the medical community will be part of your daily duties. The route requires a stop in Sequim and multiple medical facilities in Port Townsend. It also involves a walk-on ferry ride from Port Townsend to Keystone and back. The desire and ability to work independently and yet communicate/coordinate with a small team of colleagues is a must.

We’re currently hiring for the following scheduled days/hours:

Starting Pay: $17.00/hour

Pay Dates: 15th and last day of each month.

Hours: Approximately 2:45pm to 7:15pm.

The repeating two-week rotation of your scheduled shifts:

Week 1: Mon/Tue

Week 2: Mon/Tue/Wed

Needed time off from the scheduled shifts listed above is provided by a colleague scheduled to work the balance of our work week (Wed/Thu/Fri on Week 1 followed by Thu/Fri on Week 2).

The successful candidate must possess:

1. A valid Washington State Driver’s License.

2. Proof of current auto insurance.

3. A reliable vehicle.

4. Excellent driving skills and familiarity with the service area.

5. A clean driving record.

6. Proof of Covid-19 Immunization.

In addition to wages, the successful candidate will be reimbursed for driving their personal vehicle (currently at $0.655/mile) on a daily route of approximately 70 miles. The company’s commercial auto policy provides coverage for drivers at the times/places in which they’re operating on the behalf of the company. The cost of ferry passes will also be reimbursed by the company.
