The Role:

The Pharma IT R&D Program Manager will serve as a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading and managing complex IT programs that support R&D business functions.

You Will:

• Manage end-to-end IT program delivery, ensuring that all aspects of the program are planned, executed, and monitored according to the agreed-upon timeline, budget, scope, and quality standards.
• Work closely with R&D business leaders, project teams, IT stakeholders, and external vendors to define program objectives, scope, and deliverables, and to ensure alignment with business priorities and IT strategies.
• Develop and maintain detailed program plans, schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management plans, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and aligned.
• Identify and manage program risks, issues, dependencies, and changes, and escalate as appropriate to senior leadership.
• Manage program governance and reporting, including status updates, program metrics, financials, and communication plans.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor to the business and IT leadership.
• Promote best practices in program management, IT delivery, and stakeholder engagement, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

You Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in IT program management, with a focus on R&D in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience managing large, complex IT programs across the full lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, and control.
• Strong knowledge of R&D business processes, systems, and technologies, including drug discovery, clinical development, regulatory affairs, and medical affairs.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust and influence senior leadership.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and manage program risks, issues, dependencies, and changes.
• Proven experience in managing global teams and external vendors.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and Agile/Scrum certification preferred.

Pay: $105,000.00 - $180,825.56 per year
