The Prescription Center is part of New Hampshire's largest independent provider of pharmacy services, comprising of 2 retail pharmacies, a non sterile compounding lab, DME provider, and long term care pharmacy (NEPS). Pharmacy Hours M-F 8:00am - 6:00pm
Saturday 8:00am - 3:00pm;
Sunday 9:00am - 1:00pm
Every 4th weekend rotation

3 weeks annual vacation (accrued)

Responsibilities: Serves as a role model in the practice of pharmaceutical care for staff pharmacists and technicians
Maintains established procedures concerning quality assurance, security of controlled substances, and disposal of drugs designated as hazardous waste
Accurately dispenses medications by packaging and labeling pharmaceuticals
Provide patients with pertinent drug information
Supervise and maintain records of all medications
Supervise and evaluate pharmacy staff to ensure all essential job functions are being performed and expectations are being met
Act as a liaison between the store and healthcare professionals, patients and law enforcement
Adheres to all Board of Pharmacy laws and regulations
Qualifications: Active state RPH license
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Pharm D degree
Successful completion of the NH BOP PIC exam
Minimum 2 years experience as a licensed pharmacist
Must be in good standing with Board of Pharmacy
Must be able to pass background check and drug screening
Proficient in all aspects of pharmacy law, policies, and procedures
Effective communication skills and strong sense of teamwork
Extensive knowledge of state and federal laws, rules, and regulations surrounding pharmacy including facility inspection and licensing processes
Experience building a pharmacy team - including but not limited to recruiting, interviewing, and hiring (Pharmacists, Technicians, and Interns)
Community/retail experience is preferred
Experience with process improvement
Experience with the employee life cycle (interviewing, hiring, performance management, promotions, and terminations
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $124,800.00 - $130,000.00 per year
