Phlebotomist/Lab Assistant Job at Quest Diagnostics-Indy
We're looking for an experienced Laboratory Assistant to help conduct basic analysis of pediatric patient samples. The Laboratory Assistant will be working with cutting-edge technology and provides critical support to a busy clinic. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a typical clinical setting and gain experience working in the lab. We are looking for outgoing individuals with strong organizational skills, a high attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Responsibilities:
- Administer basic health screenings to children.
- Prepare patients for testing by taking vital signs, drawing blood, and/or giving injections.
- Ensure the safety of subjects during testing.
- Monitor the behavior of subjects during tests.
- Clean and sanitize equipment and areas used during testing.
- Document the results of tests on a timely basis.
- Adhere to all government regulations when conducting medical tests.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
