Your Role in the Company
As a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant, you will provide physical therapy to patients as directed by the physical therapist, physician and established plan of care, in a professional, competent manner, upholding excellence with quality of care.
Essential Elements of the Role
Provide treatments to patients as directed by Physical therapist and established plan of care.
Work cooperatively with other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional physical therapy practice and interdisciplinary teamwork.
Demonstrate knowledge and proficiency of physical therapy modalities.
Manage and operate equipment safely and correctly.
Meet current documentation standards and policies.
Maintain department cleanliness and safety.
Interact professionally with patient/family and involve patient/family in the formation of physical therapy exercise and maintenance programs.
Communicate appropriately and clearly to physical therapist, supervisor, staff and administrative team.
Demonstrate an ability to be flexible, organized and function under stressful situations.
Participate in infection control, departmental equipment training and organizational safety and fire safety programs.
Qualifications
Must have a degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
Must meet all certification and licensure requirements as established by the state and national board associations.
Active license in state of work is required.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Basic computer knowledge is preferred.
Active CPR certification.
