Services are provided under the early intervention, education, and medical models, providing therapists with the unique opportunity to gain experience in and truly understand the differences and the interplay between these models of care.

The Physical Therapist will implement therapy programs and function in accordance with the philosophy, laws, rules, and regulations of this profession pertaining to the state in which he or she is practicing.

Pediatric Physical Therapist Responsibilities:

• Complete comprehensive evaluations under all models of cares.
• Create unique, individualized treatment plans that outline the treatment goals, methods, and strategies to be utilized in treatment.
• Collaborate with the team to provide the best available plan of care.
• Complete detailed, accurate, and timely documentation of evaluations, re-evaluations, and daily treatment.
• Provide ongoing therapy services under all models of care.
• Coordinate the child's care with other healthcare professionals.
• Educate families regarding therapeutic exercises, activities, and equipment.
• Participate in continuing education relevant to this patient population.

Pediatric Physical Therapist Requirements:

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy specializing in pediatric physical therapy.
• Experience in a supervised internship may be advantageous.
• A state license to practice pediatric physical therapy.
• The ability to handle stress and pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail, patience, and empathy.
• Ability and desire to work as part of an interdisciplinary clinic.
• Proactive and willing to jump in where needed to support company growth.
• Strong in verbal and written skills, as well as the ability to communicate with a varied audience.
• Entry level applicants welcome; also looking for experienced clinicians desiring for leadership opportunities within the Physical Therapy department.
