Job Summary
The Physical Therapist PRN at Port Charlotte Rehab Center provides physical therapy services to patients in accordance with physician's treatment plans. The PRN position has the ability to have flexible hours and to pick up additional shifts as needed to meet needs of the organization. The Physical Therapist PRN will work with a team of health care professionals to ensure optimal patient health.
Compensation & Benefits
The Physical Therapist PRN at the Port Charlotte Rehab Center will be compensated on an hourly basis, with the standard pay rate to be determined. This position is eligible for benefits including medical, dental, 401K, and Paid Time Off.

The Physical Therapist PRN at Port Charlotte Rehab Center provides physical therapy services to patients in accordance with physician's treatment plans. Responsibilities
- Evaluate patient's physical and medical condition at the initial visit
- Develop an individualized treatment plan for each patient
- Provide physical therapy interventions according to the treatment plan
- Monitor and reassess patient's progress
- Instruct patients in self-care and discharge planning
- Develop prescribed treatment programs for daily use at home
- Prepare and maintain patient records
Requirements
- Must hold a valid physical therapist license
- Must have a working knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, Human Resources, etc.
- Must be able to respond to emergency situations
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality
- Must have excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to work flexible hours as needed
