We are currently seeking an experienced Plant Manger to lead and manage our facility, running 24-7, which is a heavy duty industrial manufacturing site near Rock Hill, SC.
We have a team of floor level and shift leaders, totaling over 300 employees onsite and we are seeking a manufacturing leader with experience leading a similarly sized team, or larger, and someone that has experience and a background responsible for the plant financials, including the full P&L, etc.
This role will be running the entire operation through their individual support leadership team ( Operations manager, Safety Leaders, other team leads and managers etc.) and will work on both day to day and big picture and strategic decision making and project management.
This role will also act as the point person in charge of being the conduit to the corporate HQ, helping to implement changes, track successes and challenges, work to create company wide SOPs, etc.
Degreed Manufacturing site leaders with an Engineering degree, 5-10 years of progressive plant leadership and supervision experience and a desire to land in a new role, make their mark and bring both energy, value and a batch of new ideas and a new vision, is what we are looking for....If this is you, let's talk for sure!
Work Experience/Education:
-> DESIRE A 4 Year Degree - A bachelors degree preferably in a manufacturing, business or engineering discipline.
EXPERIENCE LEVEL:
-> Experience leading LARGE TEAMS, ideally closer to or above 400PPL, but will consider those with 200 or more, under their belt.
-> A minimum of 5-10 years experience in a manufacturing environment; 5+ years in a management role; 3+ years lean manufacturing environment experience
General profile experience/skills sought:
-> Safety minded, with knowledge of basic OSHA regulations within a manufacturing/distribution environment
-> Detail oriented approach, but also someone with ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced organization...things change, depending on the week, the day, the hour, so being able to handle this with poise, and confidence...is what we are looking for!
-> Excellent interpersonal, Presentation Skills, Leadership/Motivational skills, and an ability to drive projects/manage projects effectively.
-> Experience implementing or leading Lean processes, change management, process and continuous improvements
