The Golden Hotel a 5 Senses Property is seeking a PM Restaurant Supervisor for our in-house Restaurant The Bridgewater Grill. Come join our fun and hardworking team to provide great service to our many guests in Beautiful Downtown Golden located right next to the Clear Creek, with amazing views from our patio and in door seating. We have an upbeat and down to earth team, we are looking for a third person to round out are team!

Hours Available - Full-time, PM Shifts, Weekends Required and Some Holidays

Our hourly range for this Supervisor position is $22

Bi-Weekly Pay Period with RAIN app to get money from your paycheck before pay day.

Employment is contingent on passing pre-employment background check.


Ideal candidates will enjoy a fast pace of a high-volume dining and have passion for food, service, and hard work. We are wanting to find an experienced, motivated, hardworking, reliable, detail orientated Restaurant Supervisor for our busy Grill. Experience in the field or a similar field is preferred for this position.

We are a 62-room full-service hotel, with a full restaurant and banquets department and the Bridgewater Grill is the heart of our Hotel. If you enjoy interacting with people and love providing great customer service and top-notch hospitality; this position is for you!

Ideal candidate must be highly proficient in all aspects of Front of the House management, with strong focus on customer services and team leadership.

Requirements:
  • Ability to lead and align the team and the restaurant operations with the mission Statement and goals of the
hotel and the restaurant.
  • Strong leadership, management skills and scheduling of Front of House team
  • Excellent customer service skills and communication skills
  • Must be willing to work based on the needs of the business.
  • Ability to exceed guests’ expectations and/or respond to guest complaints.
  • Organization skills and ability to train staff for consistent and optimum service standards and knowledge of
food and wine.
  • Integral member of F&B management team
  • Assist in staff training and assist with scheduling.
  • Coordinates with management the on-the-job training for new associates
  • Outgoing personality with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience with ALOHA point of sales system preferred, but not required.

Qualifications:
  • Able to lift and carry trays of up to 20-25 lbs.
  • Anticipates guest’s needs and offers services prior to the guest asking.
  • Maintains the image of the hotel and the restaurant by appearing presentable and well groomed.
  • Manages guest’s concerns appropriately and resolves issues to the guest’s satisfaction keeping business
objectives in mind. As the primary guest contact, show patience and a willingness to help and support the
guests with their requests.
  • Supports the kitchen team by helping assemble food items as needed; ensuring the presentation is attractive
and to standards.
  • Maintains the cleanliness & organization of front and back of the house areas.
  • Completes tasks assigned by F&B Manger and/or Hotel Managers which may include bussing tables,
completing side work prep and cleaning of the restaurant area.
  • Be aware of the Guest Service Scores and understand role ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Attends all mandatory meetings and timely completes all required training.
  • Must be friendly and professional, with attention to service and detail.
  • Must be poised and courteous with excellent communication skills.
  • Understands basic food preparation concepts in order to relay to a guest how certain dish are prepared.
  • Depth of knowledgeable on wine and beer to share with guests when asked or when upselling.
  • Able to work early mornings, nights, afternoons, weekends, holidays, and the summer months.
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Willingness to work in a fast paced and physically active work environment.
  • Ability to stay positive in the work environment and be a team player!
  • Is TIPS certified (NOT a requirement)
