“Porters Neck Country Club is seeking a Halfway House Attendant to join our team to provide food and beverage service for the golf course turn and/or snack bar. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and positive attitude. Individuals considered for this position will be expected to excel in fast-paced, high-volume, environment and must positively contribute to the country club and golf course atmosphere. Dependability, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a vibrant personality are expected. This individual must be able to respond promptly to customer needs while deliver outstanding food and beverage service to members and guests.

Responsibilities
- Greets the members and guests cheerfully by name if possible or addresses them by sir or ma’am.
- Assists with table setup, maintenance, cleanliness of dining areas.
- Complete opening and closing duties/checklists in a timely fashion.
- Serves Alcoholic Beverages in an appropriate manner consistent with company standards.
- Maintains full knowledge of food and beverage offerings, current a la carte menus and Daily Specials.
- Properly receives, stores and inventories all beverage and/or bar products.
- Communicates with food and beverage staff to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Does side work during non-busy hours.
- Maintains a professional appearance at all times.
- Will assure that member’s satisfaction standards are consistently attained and will seek opportunities to create positive, memorable experience for both members and guests.
- Maintains a safe, clean, organized and stocked work area.
- Preforms additional duties as assigned by manager.
- Includes daytime, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
- Must have reliable transportation.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 40lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and bend for long periods of time
- Ability to use a point of sale terminal
- Basic Mathematical Skills (Add, Subtract, Multiply and Divide)
- Must be of age to serve an Alcoholic Beverage in the State of North Carolina
- Must have reliable transportation
- Country Club Experience preferred but not required
