What You'll Do:

Research, develop, design, and test electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks. Design electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, domestic and international purposes.

Responsible for supporting senior engineers in performing electrical engineering research, design, development, modification, and evaluation in support of complex radar systems and their electronic components. Will support design, development and test of receiver and exciter subsystems used in ground based, airborne and shipboard radar and electronic warfare applications with a specific focus on RF and Mixed Signal Circuits. The individual will conduct trade studies, perform dynamic analyses, interface with vendors, test RF and Mixed Signal circuitry and interact with engineers of other disciplines (Mechanical, Systems, etc.).

Liverpool is a village just outside of Syracuse, NY on Onondaga Lake in what is called the Central New York region. Syracuse is the major hub in the region, and has everything you would expect from a small city with a strong college influence. New York City and Philadelphia, PA are each about a 4 hour ride away, Rochester is just over an hour and ¼ to the west, and The Finger Lakes region with its beautiful scenery and wineries are just off to the west. Beautiful Lake Ontario and hundreds of other lakes are nearby and the Adirondack Mountains are just two hours to the northeast.   • Knowledge of Analog Circuits, design and analysis.
Knowledge of Power Systems design including Linear and Switch Mode Power Supplies (SMPS).
- Experience with Lab Equipment - O-Scopes, DVMs,
etc.
  • Knowledge of PCB design.
  • Ability to obtain and hold a DOD Security clearance.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, written/verbal skills
  • Able to work effectively in a diverse team
environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to act independently
  • Demonstrated problem solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA desired
  • BS Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field of study

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
