Under the direction of the Practice Director, the Practice Coordinator is responsible for the administrative function of daily operations of the practice and all sites within the practice.
Responsibilities
- Act as the administrative point of contact for the practice. Work as needed with various departments including Clinical Staffing, HR, Payroll, Provider Enrollment, RCM, IT for communication and demands of practice.
- Facilitate the resolution of employee inquiries or issues by working directly with and directing employees to the appropriate departmental point of contact.
- Support the practice leadership with reporting that includes but is not limited to, quality metrics, business statistics, financial and operational efficiencies and other as needed. Ensure reports are accurate and timely.
- Assist on various special projects as determined by the Director of Operations and Practice Director.
- Resolve patient complaints or answer patient’s questions regarding policies and procedures.
- Train employees on company systems, policies or arrange for training to be provided.
- Assist candidates and Medical Staff Service Department with hospital application/credentialing
- Work closely with hospital Medical Staff to maintain current credentials on all staff.
- Process and submit check requests and expense reimbursements, per Practice and Company policy.
- Assist the practice leadership and practice physician(s) with meeting coordination, patient inquiries, hospital commitments, correspondence, and other as required.
- Responsible for the proper maintenance and supplies of the physical office. Ensures a safe and professional work environment is maintained.

Qualifications
Associated degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
Requires 2-3 years of experience in a Medical/Healthcare setting, preferable in a Physician practice.
Must have knowledge of computer and strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
Must have excellent verbal communications skills and reasoning and analysis aptitude.
Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience will be considered.
