Job Description
Production level, high quality, precision metal grinding operations using Blanchard or Mattison surface grinding machines.
Set up work pieces and operate Blanchard and Mattison metal surface grinding machines to produce high quality, precision level end products From minimum clean up to precision six-side grinding according to customer specifications.
Read and follow engineering drawings, written instructions and respond to verbal supervision.
Work independently to accomplish assigned tasks in a timely and thorough manner.
Observe and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Comply with all personal and company safety requirements.
Additional job duties as required.
Skills and Qualifications
Experience with six-sided precision grinding and finish surface grinding.
Experience working in a machine intensive environment to accomplish assigned mechanical tasks in a safe and productive manner.
Physically capable of lifting heavy work pieces up to 25 pounds.
Experience with safe and secure overhead crane operations.
Ability to communicate in English.
Basic skills in mathematics and a high school or GED diploma or other technical education.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
