We are looking for an Educational Leader to join our Team as our Center Director and Lead Teacher of our Afternoon Preschool Class. Our center is certified for 45 children. We have two Preschool classrooms and one Toddler classroom.

The Ideal Center Director will:

• Have expereince teaching in a structured academically focused classroom. (ie Elementary or Preschool setting)
• Have a minimum two years of experience a Preschool Director, School Administrator, or Lead Educator with experience over seeing other adults.
• Know how to create a warm welcoming environment for families and employees.
• Know how to retain staff and instill passion in others
• Have stong behavior management skills in the classroom and know how to train others effectively to improve instruction in the classroom
• Know how to communicate clearly and effectively with staff and enrolled families
• Know how to ensure safty and maintain high expectations in the facility at all times
• Know state regulations and remain in compliance with all state licensing requirements.

Other job requirements include:

• Leading monthly staff meetings
• Advertising open preschool slots and providing tours to potential families
• Communicating clearly and consisitently with the Owner
• Being familiar with our curriculum and providing continual trianing for our teachers
• Managing staff schedules and filling in for Teachers or support staff when needed
• Ensuring and maintaing a clean, organized, and orderly school environment
• Know all State Licensing Requirements and stay within those requirements at all times
• Work with licensing, sanitation, and fire department for license renewals as needed
• Hire staff as needed
• Stay within and manage the budget
• Create lesson plans, prepare, and teach our afternoon preschool class 3 days per week.
• Participate in Parent Teacher Conferences
• Plan fundraisers and after school events
• Other responsibilities will be discussed during the interview and training process

Continual training and support will be provided to the Director by the Owner. We have a great school environment and work culture.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $24.00 - $32.00 per hour
