The Forest City, NC Plastics Injection Molding location has an opening for a Press Attendant. This hourly position reports directly to the shift supervisor and is responsible for the safety of one’s self and fellow employees. Excellent attendance is crucial for the team to achieve success. The ideal candidate has a proven record of success in fast-paced environments. He/she must have the ability to work with various teams and successfully follow all work instructions.
This is an entry level position that has multiple progression opportunities within the plant; mold changer, material handler, quality inspector, process technician, etc.).
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Participate in our safety program and complete safety checklists
- Inspecting and packing parts
- Alert technicians to quality or machine issues
- Using manual pallet jacks to move materials occasionally
- Cleaning of workstation
- Additional duties as assigned
