PENNEP is seeking a Pricing Database Specialist: Strategic Pricing & Deal Management to join our team. The Pricing Analyst – Estimator will develop pricing for all services proposed by The Client in the Service Delivery – Offsite MS area.

Through thorough analysis of the proposal components and pricing strategy provided by the design team, the Pricing Analyst – Estimator will prepare estimates in The Client’s ERP system resulting in margin for each component of the deal while following standardized pricing templates.

This position will format SOW pricing in an easy to read and understand format that aligns with the specific requirements of the customer.

They will also help drive strategies within the department to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the team particularly focusing on managing and aligning contract terms with pricing.

Responsible for validation and preparation of vendor pricing data for use in updating The Client’s ERP system.

Pricing Analyst – Estimator will assist in the creation of analyses to support The Client’s price/cost negation process with vendors.

Roles & Responsibilities

​With supervision from the Manager, Contract Price Management and by working closely with The Client’s Strategic Pricing Teams and Pricing Design & Analytics group, the Pricing Database Administrator will be responsible for the managing and tracking of pricing terms and conditions in a database repository which will be used to drive compliant pricing actions.

• Maintain an accurate database of The Client pricing terms and conditions in a format that will allow easy, yet secure, access to users.
• Work with Strategic pricing teams to confirm and audit pricing information to ensure accurate information for use with automated price update tools.
• Responsibility for maintaining the integrity and performance of Pricing Database.
• Serves as the key control point for pricing terms and conditions in pricing database and tables.
• Work with Pricing Design & Analytics group on an ongoing basis to update or add database fields or functionality as needs change.
• Takes initiative to identify and resolve issues and inconsistencies around pricing data in related systems.
• Must guarantee that data is stored securely and optimally.
• Participates in additional database or pricing projects as needs arise.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years general office experience.
• Experience working with pricing and maintaining databases desired.
• 2+ years MS Office experience (focus in Excel and Access).
• Understanding of pricing terms and conditions a plus.
• Possesses interpersonal skills necessary to develop relationships with a diverse group of professionals within Strategic Pricing & Deal Management.
• Possesses ability to work efficiently and confidently with sometimes incomplete information.
• Actively fact-find and research matters independently.
• Ability to read and interpret pricing terms and conditions.
• Possesses strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Possesses ability to organize multiple priorities/projects.
• Strong computer skills – Excel, Access, Word etc.​

Minimum Qualifications

​QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience and Certifications)
​Preferred:

• 4+ years MS Office experience ​
• 3+ years ERP system experience ​
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years pricing and financial analysis experience ​
