Receive administrative support in providing quality care to identified patients.


The Provider will assume care and develop panel of patients. The Provider is responsible for oversight of care provided to patients that have chosen or are assigned to the Provider. The Provider is responsible for conducting medical care professionally, upholding the highest level of service.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high quality, compassionate healthcare to those in need, in a manner that is consistent with the mission of the District.
  • Ensure that patient care and satisfaction meets or exceeds District quality standards as determined by the Chief Medical Officer.
  • Actively assist and participate in the ongoing quality improvement and risk management programs with respect to medical services.
  • Meet standards of performance and productivity as determined by Chief Medical Officer.
  • Assist in the coordination and dissemination of information regarding Provider Services in the local community to the extent allowable by applicable laws and regulations.
  • Participate in community outreach activities at the request of District and as mutually agreed by the parties.
  • Participate in the resolution of patient and provider complaints and enhancement of patient and provider satisfaction as measured by regular surveys.
  • Complete and maintain adequate, timely and proper medical records with respect to all patients examined or treated in accordance with all applicable legal, accreditation and third-party payor standards within such time limits as are required by Hospital or its Medical Staff bylaws, rules and regulations. Provider is subject to any fines and/or other penalties pertaining to delinquent medical records pursuant to Hospital’s Medical Staff Bylaws.
  • Understand and incorporate concepts of appropriate billing protocols for medical services rendered. Submit all charges for professional services provided by Provider on a timely basis and consistent with District’s policies and procedures.
  • Additional duties, within reason, as directed by Chief Medical Officer.

Requirements:
Current Medical Doctor License, active in Washington State.

Eligibility Requirements - Employees regularly scheduled at least 20 hours per week.

Employee Dependents - Your legal spouse or domestic partner, Dependent children until age 26.
