Job Summary

Provides end to end technical solution designs, recommends development tools and standards. Engages with business and BSAs to determine best possible end to end solutions, advises on feasibility and cost of recommended solutions. Considers stability, interoperability, security, or scalability of architecture.

Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end integration solutions for complex business processes and systems

• Drive client discussions and translate business requirements into technical specifications

• Select and apply suitable integration technologies and components

• Design and implement integration services using cloud-based technology stack or other platforms as required

• Manage and mentor a team of platform engineers to deliver high-quality integration solutions

• Document and maintain the integration services catalogue and standards for internal and external use

• Monitor and troubleshoot the performance and availability of integration platforms and services

• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues and provide technical support as needed

• Collaborate with other developers, enterprise architects, and stakeholders to deliver and end-to-end integration solutions

• Hands-on Design, Coding, Testing & Support of Software applications & module(s)

• Develop & Test Integration solution(s) per standard practice(s) and procedures based on the software engineering design.

• Consistently produce maintainable, high-quality integration solutions independently

• Build high quality code that meets software engineering standards of performance, security, and resiliency

• Work in a Globally Distributed Development team environment with minimal supervision.

• Interact with stakeholder(s) to understand and document the product feature(s).

• Help Integrate software product(s) with other systems, test interfaces, and manage version control

• Maintain and contribute to the user and developer documentation

• Solve bugs, engage in trouble shooting, and interact with the internal developer community

• Assist in analysis & evaluation of new technologies to meet demand for product roadmap and technology platform goals

• Help in evaluation and recommendation of appropriate technologies for product features and platform

• Advocate and follow best design and development practices adhering to Engineering standards.

• Participate in Design & Peer Code Review process

• Provides status reports and help with release management planning

Qualifications

• Bachelor or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field with 12+ years of professional software development experience

• At least 8 years of experience as a technical lead or architect in delivering enterprise integration solutions using various integration technologies and platforms

• Solid foundations in Computer systems, data structure, algorithms, and design patterns

• Solid understand of Cloud-native principles and its implementation (including Microservices, Containers, DevOps, Security)

• Strong knowledge of integration patterns, standards, and best practices

• Experience with APIs, XML, JSON, SOAP, REST etc

• Experience with various application domains such as Salesforce, Workday, AWS, ServiceNow etc

• Experience with hybrid deployment models

• Experience with data management, governance, and quality

• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

• 3+ years of hands-on programming experience in building real world systems with at least one of the languages – JavaScript / Java / Go

• 3+ years of experience in hands-on design & development of programming interfaces (APIs)

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in SQL & NO-SQL database design & development

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
