Overview:

Support Product Development by managing Design Production, partnering with freelance and in house designers. Strong organizational and communication skills along with the ability to balance multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment is critical.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Build & Template Greeting Card, vendor ready production files
• Prioritize, schedule according to time and action deadlines
• Build, review and confirm files accurately reflect design comments and execution notes
• Determine vendor selection based on production capabilities and most advantageous cost
• Send production files directly to overseas vendor(s) and organize team calls to review all development
• Print out color correct files for visual review
• Maintain a high level of organization and communication with Manager of Design and Product Management team
• Ensure quality execution of finished product

Skills required include:

• Minimum of 2-5 years’ experience in Product Development, in Stationery Categories (preferably greeting cards)
• Previous Management experience a plus
• Production-ready file experience
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Ability to handle multiple projects with flexibility and ease while meeting or exceeding deadlines
• Review and articulate ideas on work in progress quickly and clearly while inspiring others
• Ability to solicit and listen to feedback including constructive criticism from leadership and peers
• Ability to interpret conceptual design ideas
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organization, attention to detail and follow through skills
• Works well both independently and in a team environment with an eagerness to learn and grow
• Strong interpersonal skills
• The ability to lead and inspire others to deliver their best work while keeping them engaged and happy, including a genuine interested in furthering the careers of your team members
