Blackstone Talent Group, an award-winning technology consulting and talent agency is seeking a Product Designer to join our Client's team.

We are seeking a Product Designer who's excited to design a world-class streaming experience and be part of our product design team. The ideal candidate is a design leader who will be part of a cross-functional team building across over 20 supported experiences, from connected TVs, to mobile apps to web. This person can produce high-fidelity designs and partner closely with engineering teams to ship immersive content discovery experiences while participating in and contributing to the collaborative culture we’ve worked so hard to create. This position is open to remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects across the entire product lifecycle
• Design, validate, refine and ship product experiences
• Craft a discoverable experience for our users to ensure they can find and engage to shows and movies
• Work closely with your manager to ensure you have the resources and time to be successful
• Conduct ongoing feedback sessions to ensure your designs are achieving the goals you’ve defined
• Rationalize UX solutions with data, improve designs through feedback and thoughtfully question the status quo
• Create pixel-precise designs that are on brand and are created based on product requirements and partner input/feedback
• Research the competitive landscape, create user flows and work towards product designs that take into consideration evolving functionality, technological innovation and their effects on the product and company revenue
• Collaborate with product, engineering and other cross-functional partners to develop compelling solutions across multiple problem spaces like discovery and engagement

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product design experience
• A strong UX and visual design sense, with an eye for simple, intuitive interfaces
• Adaptable to fast-moving timelines and variable project requirements
• Work independently and demonstrate radical ownership
• Ability to rapidly concept, ideate and execute multiple concepts
• Outstanding visual design aesthetics combined with holistic UX
• Embraces the dynamic nature of software development
• The right candidate should have experience working in an agile context, where they have been a member of a delivery team in a product development environment, working closely with product owners, developers, and QA
