OVERVIEW: The Product Management Coordinator is primarily responsible for the collection, analysis and dissemination of internal sales data, competitive intelligence and market data related to Savaria’s current and future Patient Handling portfolio in North America. This role will interact closely with Sales, Marketing, Product Development Engineering and Quality.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist Product Manager in definition and optimization of the pipeline and product portfolio for the products and services developed in Patient Handling.
- Identify gaps in product offerings and related service program
- Identify market trends related to product features, pricing and usage
- Provide data and analysis required for decisions on product discontinuations
- Assist in developing and implementing advanced training programs for corporate customers and internal staff if required.
- Develop and maintain competitive cross reference records for key patient handling product lines including overhead lifts, bed frames, hygiene, slings and support surfaces.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to write reports, business correspondence and materials that may be incorporated into public-facing marketing content. Ability to present information effectively and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and customers.
- Verbal fluency in French desired.

DUCATION, EXPERIENCE & TRAINING:
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) from a four-year college or university; and 5 to 7 years of product management or market analysis experience, preferably in medical devices.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES OR REGISTRATIONS:
- None required at this time.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- The employee may occasionally stand, walk, stoop, kneel or crouch during shift. Employee will be required to regularly sit, use hand to finger, handle, feel and reach with hands and arms. Employee must be able to occasionally lift and or move up to 50 lbs.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- This position works in an environment with moderate noise levels.
TRAVEL:
- This position may travel up to 50% of the time. Travel will include both domestic and international.
