We Are Looking For:
Montana Instruments, a growing high-tech Company in Bozeman, Montana, is seeking a Product Specialist. The Product Specialist will work closely with the Product Manager to develop experiments and test regimes to support customer requests, author technical marketing materials including white papers and videos. In addition, the Product Specialist will support new product teams in operational testing and the Product Manager on new product launches. Additional responsibilities will be to support our digital marketing efforts and with guidance leading specific marketing projects.
The Product Specialist position is a track to becoming a Product Manager by learning customer applications and how we position our products in the market. As the person grows in the position additional responsibilities will be given for market analysis and developing selected new product opportunities. To be successful you must have the desire to learn about end customer applications and how Montana Instruments products support their work.
Responsibilities:
- Author technical documentation including white papers, manuals, brochures, etc.
- Build and conduct testing with Montana Instruments systems for marketing and sales support
- Work with Product Managers on website and digital marketing initiates
- Support the Product Manager on New Product Teams with testing and activities for product launches
Minimum Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Physics is strongly preferred.
- +3 Years in a Technical Customer Facing Role (Sales Engineer, Customer Service, etc.)
Desired Skills:
- Must be able to work well independently and on a team
- Must have high attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and be flexible with changing priorities
- Experience with cryogenic or vacuum systems is desired but not required
- Experience in Digital Marketing· is desired but not required
- Demonstrate technical writing skills
- Strong communications skills in working with customers and internal teams
