Responsibilities

• Manufacture, assemble, install and test, aeronautical vehicle systems.
• Follow written instructions used to build simple subassemblies.

• Use precision calibrated tools - torque wrenches, micrometers, and calipers
• Operate a wide range of vehicle assembly tools including but not limited to power drills, power saws, etc.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement projects for area safety and efficiency.
• Perform routine maintenance functions
• Use precision calibrated tools - torque wrenches, micrometers, and calipers
• Other duties as assigned or otherwise beneficial to fulfilling the mission and vision.

Need to Have

• Hands-on work-with-your-hands aptitude and “figure-it-out” attitude
• High School Diploma/GED

Nice to Have

• 1+ years of hardware installation, or production experience in automotive, aerospace, aviation, military, or other high-reliability operating environment
• Use precision calibrated tools - torque wrenches, micrometers, and calipers
• Basic understanding of connections, harnesses, and electro-mechanical systems
• Basic understanding of low voltage and high voltage applications
• Basic understanding of composites manufacturing
• Ability to read/understand technical drawings, manuals, and reports
• Experience self-checking work to quality standards
