Prysmian Group - General Cable is seeking Full Time Production Associates for our overnight (7pm - 7am) shift. Experience is not required - We will provide you with the necessary training.

Individuals applying for this position must be able to commit to a one week, 7am to 3pm in-class orientation as well as be flexible and adaptive to an assignment as a machine operator and/or a forklift operator.

Work Schedule: 7pm-7am shift

Pay Overview:

· Starting Pay: $21.00 hour

· After 90 Days: $22.09 hour

· After 6 Months: $23.24

· Night Shift Differential: +$0.75/hour from the above base rates

As a Production Associate, you will:

· Show a commitment to safety in all that you do

· Complete daily safety start-up checks and safety checks throughout your shift

· Meet all specification of the work orders to ensure a high-quality product and a highly satisfied customer

· Input information into the machine center computer to verify accuracy

· Complete setups, changeovers, reel changes, and material relocation within the specified time period

Requirements

· High School Diploma or GED (preferred)

· Willingness to work in a team environment and participate in safety, quality, and production improvement activities

· Proficient in basic math, reading and comprehension of work instructions, and use of a computer

· Previous manufacturing experience is preferred, but not required

Physical Requirements

· Frequently required to stand, walk, talk and hear

· Frequently lift and/or move up to 80 pounds

· Must be able to adapt to both hot and cold temperatures within the plant

· Regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms

· Occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
