Trimlite is a manufacturer of decorative door-lites, stile and rail doors and a wholesale distributor of doors, millwork and building material related products to the building trade.

Position Summary:

The Production Associate reports to the Production Supervisor. This position is responsible for the building and inspecting of special build doors with specific requests from customers.

Responsibilities:

• Operates nail gun, drills and other hand tools in an assembly line environment.
• Transfers heavy door from rack to table, and down an assembly line.
• Check door number to ensure that the correct parts and door are being prepped for installation.
• Selects correct parts per customers specifications.
• Preps door with correct parts and striping
• Must be able to safely wear equipment.
• Ensure that all products continuously meet the required standards of quality.
• Assists in supporting Safety Procedures and Policies
• Assists in adhering to 5S and general shop housekeeping policies.
• Other duties as assigned by direct supervisor or General Manager

Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to follow directions and work well in a team.
• Ability to interpret and translate engineering designs and documentation.
• Thorough understanding of/ or the ability to quickly learn production equipment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of and the ability to abide by applicable OSHA and environmental regulations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs. frequently.

• Previous experience in production/manufacturing environment
• Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work across departments.
• Able to process information and learn best practices.
• Positive attitude in busy environment
• Commitment to safety

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
