Position Summary;

This position requires a self-driven, well organized Production Lead who can exercise decision making skills and time management with little supervision. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. This position reports to the Director of Operations. This position supports the company’s production facility with the responsibilities that are included below.

What you’ll do:

• 
  Overseeing day-to-day packaging schedules and activities
• Scheduling employees at work stations to manage projects
• Communicate directly with workers to ensure deadlines are being met
• Supervise employees and oversees training and development of employees
• Recommend improvements in process to make it more efficient
• Load materials and products into package processing equipment
• Measure, weigh, and count products and materials
• Place or pour products or materials into containers, using hand tools and equipment, or fill containers from spouts or chutes
• Seal containers or materials, using lids and/or seals
• Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records
• Maintain safe work environment and participate in safety program development
• Ensure product is in compliance with customer standards and fulfillment goals are met
• Assist in performance reviews of employees
• Comply with GMP, personal hygiene, HACCP and other quality and employee safety programs
• Other duties as assigned

  Basic math skills required
• Forklift experience and certification
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to effectively communicate and interact when working with cross-functional teams
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize projects and adapt to changing deadlines
• Ability to take initiative and work independently
• Lifting up to 60 lbs on regular basis
