POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direction of VP, Manufacturing/Production Manager, the Assistant Production Manager is responsible for directing and coordinating activities of production function in processing materials or manufacturing products in industrial organization by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

- Assist the Production Manager/Head of Manufacturing to implement daily production schedule with high efficiency to achieve KPI in different plants and prepare operation report.
- Review and approve daily production reports.
- Prepare work schedules for staff members.
- Provide on the job training & safety training for new staff.
- Ensure health and safety precautions and give proper direction to staff members when accident occurs.
- Arrange to pull packaging material for different products.
- Inspect the plant regularly to ensure that no non-conformities are found on safety issues.
- Implement the quality program/sanitation program in the production department.
- Communicate with Engineering Technicians for repairs/troubleshooting on malfunctioning machines.
- Supervise all production supervisors/assistant production supervisors and production workers in chicken powder line. Assign appropriate tasks including but not limited to repacking, inspection, labelling, etc to team members.
- Work with QA or pest control company to eliminate insects and rodent activities.
- Maintain inventory accuracy for Raw material, packaging material and Finished goods
- Ability to oversee and arrange manpower, line change over for chicken powder line.
- Provide cross-training for employees across all plants.
- Good machine understanding and troubleshooting skills.
- Hiring and termination of production staff.
- Order sanitation chemicals for the plant.
- Monitor the sanitation level and arrange dry/wet cleaning accordingly.
- Monitor daily production.
- Provide on-job training & safety training for existing & new staff.
- Keep track on packaging materials & sanitation chemicals.
- Regular inspection in the facility.
- Implement quality program in production department.
- Other duty as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION, SKILLS and EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to read and comprehend equipment manuals and electrical diagrams for set-up control loops.
- Candidate must be able to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Good organizing & management skills required.
