Outlook Group is seeking a dynamic Production Manager for our Flexible Packaging team. This person will ensure production goals are met in a safe manner while contributing to organizational goals and values.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide guidance on employee development, succession planning, recruitment, retention and training.
• Develop and build a winning team with being strategic to the organization’s short term and long-term goals.
• Advocate for the organization by supporting and embracing change in the workplace.
• Assist in the development of new processes and procedures. Ensure employees follow company policies and procedures.
• Accountable for performance management including constructively addressing opportunities for improvement and praise for accomplishments.
• Ensure safe workplace practices and assist in correcting unsafe conditions and or behaviors.
• Process improvement initiatives by identifying and implementing a plan to improve efficiencies in waste, throughput, and product quality.
• Departmental budget planning and capital expense planning.
• Ensure all employees follow the quality procedures set forth by the organization and drive change in processes to improve customer satisfaction.

Supervisory Expectations

• Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Flexible Packaging production areas.

Requirements:

• Seven to ten years of flexographic printing experience
• Two to five years of leadership/management experience
• Strong oral and written communication skills including the ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization
• Ability to navigate various manufacturing software programs and MS Office Suite
