Job Summary
Plans, organizes, and supervises a team of manufacturing associates within designated manufacturing facility. Responsible for assigned team’s performance measures to achieve operational goals (Safety, Quality, Schedule Attainment, Delivery, Productivity). This opportunity is located at our Hondo Manufacturing Plant, with a schedule of Monday - Thursday; 5PM - 3:30AM.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Ensures production output targets for team are met.
- Ensures that Product Launch objectives of the assigned team are met.
- Responsible for assigned technicians’ and section leaders’ work for safety, quality, and productivity.
- Responsible for assigned Manufacturing Technician and Section Leader evaluations, counseling, disciplinary actions, etc.
- Participates in the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) program and partners with other department leaders in developing recommended actions.
- Develops subject matter (process and equipment) experts within the team.
- Demonstrates a strong sense of ownership and urgency while managing multiple priorities.
WHAT IS REQUIRED:
- High School Diploma or GED and 2 years of applicable experience in manufacturing, management or relevant technical experience.
- 2 years’ previous leadership responsibility.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate’s Degree.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel.
- Prior Oracle or other ERP Database experience.
