The Coatings Production Support Technician will support the develop and qualification of new processes to meet or exceed delivery and quality targets and assist in manufacturing readiness for these processes at the Asheville, NC site. The candidate must demonstrate hands-on technical skills, interpersonal and team skills, as well as strong communication skills and the ability to multi-task and adapt to changing business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- First point of contact in assigned area and shift for the Coatings Manufacturing Engineering team.
- Lead FAI development and new Process Tryout on the Shop Floor.
- Help train operators in proper use of work cell machines and equipment.
- Organize and lead Continuous Improvement activities in area of responsibility.
- Track product quality/cost and identify improvements where opportunities exist.
Basic Qualifications:
- AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) in Engineering or related Technical Field with 10+ years of experience in aerospace coatings environment. Certification may be required for technical support roles.
- US Citizenship required due to government contracts
Preferred Qualifications:
- Aerospace Industry experience
- Hands-on experience in a precision manufacturing environment

- Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
