About the Role: Reporting to the VP of Training and Workforce Readiness, you will be responsible for designing and building the internal Support PMO. You will take a lead role in the development of governance, standardizing tools and resources, intake processes, and project prioritization. With over 400 globally dispersed Support employees achieving 97% customer satisfaction, the PMO will streamline the intake and execution of internal strategic projects. You will work closely with the leadership team to ensure detailed planning of activities, appropriate resource allocation, comprehensive documentation, clear change management planning, and communication of critical project information. A typical day will include:
- Design and build PMO frameworks, templates, governance models, and intake processes for projects at scale to smaller initiatives.
- Work closely with project owners, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to develop the scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives.
- Work with project teams to identify risks and drive change management within the department.
- Develop and manage budget/ROI for strategic projects and be accountable for delivering against established business goals/objectives.
- Produce program reports for managers and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other internal departments and stakeholders to set expectations and ensure alignment, managing different personalities and communication styles.
This role is a fit for you if:
- You have five or more years of experience in an internal project or program management role.
- You have experience building a PMO or have worked in a well run internal PMO.
- You are highly motivated and organized professional with exceptional skills in leadership, time management, and facilitation.
- You are polished in presenting to large audiences, running effective meetings, and working with multiple levels of the organization, including executive stakeholders.
- You are a “builder” with a proven track record.
- You have experience managing multiple internal projects concurrently with multiple vendors or stakeholders, including technical implementations.
- You are not afraid to challenge the status quo, act on initiatives, and navigate conflicts in the interest of building common understanding.
- You are focused on continuous improvement.
Bonus Points for:
- Experience working in the SaaS industry.
- Experience with or knowledge of sales, customer service, and/or billing & accounting business processes.
- Experience working with Monday.com.
- PMP certification.
- Experience with RFPs.
