Program Manager (PM) Compensation and Benefits:

Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.00 hourly DOE Full Time

Program Manager Job Responsibilities

The PM is responsible for the supervision, oversight and delivery of services for the residential program to include the supervision of Direct Support Professionals. The Tennessee Department of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (DIDD) experience is highly recommended but not required.

• Responsible for overall administration of programs, supports and services per the Individual Support Plan (ISP).
• Coordinate, support and assist with all aspects of the supported living homes for the person served and direct support staff members to include but not limited to planning all community participation activities.
• Perform unannounced supervisory visits, fire drills, and weekly MAR reviews.
• Ensure DSP staff adequately document the delivery of services (daily, weekly, bi-weekly and monthly) according to the Individual Support Plan (ISP).
• Manage staff scheduling including vacancies, callouts and shift changes.
• Monitor the healthcare needs of the person supported, assist with coordinating medical appointments with the agency's nurse.
• Monitor and assist with meal preparation by ensuring that meals are properly prepared in accordance with the Individual Support Plan (ISP).
• Submitting orders for supplies as needed.
• Assist with selecting and hiring new employees as well as employee evaluations per policies and procedures.
• May be On-Call 24 hours a day, in cooperation with other management staff.
• Work will take place in the community and in the homes.

Program Manager Skills:

• Prior knowledge of HR concepts and terminology is preferred but not required
• Must be flexible, work well under pressure, and have the ability to readily adapt to change
• Able to manage multiple priorities, think tactically and strategically, demonstrate objectivity, be results-oriented, and show initiative and creativity.
• Proficient use of a computer
• Proficient in Microsoft Office

Program Manager Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Valid Driver's License
• Valid Car Insurance
• I-9 Identification (Social Security Card, Passport, etc.)
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds

Education:

• Required: HS Diploma or equivalent
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree or higher

Experience:

• 1 year of Staffing Experience, preferred but not required
• 1 years of DIDD management experience, preferred but not required
• 1 year of Customer Service Experience, preferred but not required
