Job Description

FIS Management Services, LLC seeks Programmer Analyst Senior in Jacksonville, FL to Provide application software development services or technical support in a defined project. Develop program logic for new applications or analyze and modify logic in existing applications. Design, code, test, implement, maintain, and support applications software is delivered on time and within budget. Work closely with customers, business analysts, and team members to understand business requirements that drive analysis and design of quality technical solutions ensuring alignment with business and IT strategies and complying with FIS architectural standards. Code, test, debug, document, implement and maintain software applications. Maintain, test, and integrate application components. Make recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code. Ensure system improvements are successfully implemented. Demonstrate an understanding of FIS systems and the financial services industry. Analyze requirements and translates business requirements into product designs. Write technical specifications and other forms of documentation. Suggest technical alternatives and improve/streamline processes and systems. Complete project assignments and special projects commensurate with job expectations. Conduct planning, analysis, and forecasting activities to plan projects and tasks. Participate in component and data architecture design, performance monitoring, product evaluation and buy vs. Build recommendations. Provide leadership and/or guidance to other technical professionals.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Applied Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field of study and six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation: reviewing functional specifications provided by business analysts; performing system functionality, process flows, test data, data scrubbing and transformation needs; preparing systems design artifacts including flow charts, model algorithms and prototypes of small working models of systems; writing technical design documents; refining and implementing designs for Banking and Financial Applications; performing software development using JAVA, J2EE, Web technologies, Angular JS, IBM messaging (middleware)., and Oracle databases; designing and developing API’s to connect and integrate with technologies including Rest and Soap Based API; designing, testing, and performing maintenance on assigned software components including banking, finance, telecommunication, and supply chain implementation; designing and developing upgrades and enhancements to software; and performing unit testing, debugging, system test, and database verification. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master’s degree in the above referenced fields and four (4) years of experience. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies.
