Experience:

• 24 months of Progressive Care Unit experience is required.

• 18 months of travel experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a South Dakota license or compact license in hand at the time of application.

• Candidates must live at least 100 miles away from this facility in order to be eligible to apply for this role.

• COVID vaccination required for onboarding. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Information:

2-years of experience minimum in PCU level of care

Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing

Cardiac rhythm interpretation, IV starts, Blood product administration, CIWA, drain/tube management, indwelling and straight catheter insertion/management, vasoactive drips, insulin drips - both DKA and non-DKA, cardiac drips (titrating and non-titrating), continuous bladder irrigation, chest tube maintenance

Adult Inpatient Units - Med Surg, Ortho/Neuro/Surgical, Heart and Vascular Unit, Oncology, ICU (depending on experience), Observation Will float in rotation with other travelers

Every other or 50% weekends per 4-week schedule. Weekends are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

Every other holiday minimum during contracted timeframe

No RTO during Sturgis Bike Rally (3 weeks every August).
