Experience:

• 24 months of Progressive Care Unit experience is preferred.

• 3 months of travel experience is required.

• 3 months of experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a New Mexico license or compact license in hand at the time of application.

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Candidates must live at least 75 miles away from this facility in order to be eligible to apply for this role.

• COVID vaccination required for onboarding. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Information:

Travelers must have a permanent address outside of the 75 mile straight line radius of intended facility, not driving distance.

Position will float to other areas as needed.

Basic cardiac arrhythmia experience required.

Weekends - 3 per schedule minimum Holiday- as needed.

Float - Sister units Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs.

Weekends and holidays may be required.

Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location. Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or same shifts. Will float to ED to care for admitted inpatients holding for bed or as helping hands.

Orientation: 1st week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training.

Scrubs: Required and not provided by the facility.

Holiday Coverage Required: Yes.

Guaranteed Hours: 36.

BLS must be AHA.
