PROJECT ARCHITECT

We are seeking a Project Architect with 5+ years of professional experience competent in the detailing and technical documentation of project design, coordination of building systems with consultants, and confirmation of conformance with all applicable codes. An understanding of the project or task “finish line”, and willingness to learn and mentor, is greatly appreciatted and rewarded.

Responsibilities:

 Interpret design concepts and translate them into workable construction systems; maintain quality technical and design control

 Work with project consultants and team members to ensure the coordination of project documentation

 Develop design and construction documents for projects; preparation and modification of permit and construction drawings ensuring the incorporation of the design intent, utilizing Revit and AutoCAD software

 Participate in the construction administration of projects and review of submittals

Skills and Competencies:

 Designing and drafting building plans
 Familiarity with construction materials, methods, standards and codes, including IBC codes and

LEED.
 Construction documentation production
 Communicating and collaborating with consultants and clients
 Revit (including modeling and documentation) and AutoCAD required
 Ability to effectively meet deadlines
 Strong organizational and schedule management skills
 Work independently or with a team to complete projects on sometimes aggressive schedules
 Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
 3D modeling and rendering software, such as SketchUp, is a plus
 Photoshop, Illustrator, Lumien and InDesign graphic software is a plus

Education: Bachelor of Architecture or Master of Architecture from an accredited university is appreciatted and will be reflected in staff member salary

Experience: 5+ years of professional architectural experience
